Principle Activities
- Selling the PeakColo portfolio of services to and through the PeakColo channels
- Recruiting new business per the Position Expectations
- Establishing, culturing and enhancing quantifiable business relationships with new and existing PeakColo partners and customers
- Meeting, at a minimum, Monthly and Quarterly Recurring Revenue targets
Challenges
- Channel focused business development role requiring exceptional skills at building CxO level partnerships
- Services-based sell
- Requires a long-term investment in time and energy around building pipeline
- Activities are highly visible and paramount to customer satisfaction
- Fast paced, SLA-bound, 24×7 service provider environment
- Travel requirement of 50% to 75%
Required Qualifications
- Five to ten years in similar sales/business development role
- Three to five references from customers and partners
- Proven history of career advancement
- Proven history of meeting and exceeding revenue and quota targets
- Proven and demonstrable understanding of Cloud, IaaS and Virtualization
- World-class customer service skills
- Diploma from an accredited university
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA from an accredited university
- Specific sales and technology skills related to NetApp, VMware, Brocade, Cisco and advanced networking
- VMware VSP certification
